Hello, loves! I just wanted to come on here real quick and tell you why I haven’t been posting. My best friends grandpa recently passed away and I’ve just been dealing with that. I haven’t really been in the mood to write posts. I’m hoping to start back up this Monday. I MIGHT try to get a post up on Tomorrow but most likely it will be on Monday.
Hello, loves! I came across eSalon’s at home spa night graphic and was inspired to share my own at home spa selections! For those of you who don’t know, eSalon is an at-home hair color company with customizable hair color! So, for today’s post, I’m going to be showing you the few things that I do to pamper myself. Let’s get to it, shall we?
Light a candle
The first thing that I do is light a candle. I’ve been loving this one that I actually got at Dollar Tree. It smells so good! Highly recommend!
Put some music on
I love music and everything I do is 100x better when music is playing. I usually listen to the self-titled Pentatonix album. Or Disney songs. (A wholeee neeewwww woorrllddddddd)
Face Mask
My number one thing to do to pamper myself is to put a face mask on. I’ve been loving this one from a2o labs. This is the hydrating one. This is actually my second one. And I think I’ll get some more soon for when it starts to get colder and my skin needs some hydration. I love the fact that it’s a sheet mask and you don’t have to rinse anything off after you’re done. It just feels like a moisture bomb is being dropped on your face. And only for a dollar? How can you beat that?
Painting my nails
Pure Ice – Busted (No Longer Available)
Now, for some people, this is something they do quite often. But honestly, I haven’t been wearing nail polish for the past few months. Because I rock climb so frequently, there’s almost no point in painting them because they’re just going to get ruined when I climb. So, when I do paint my nails it’s a very big treat. When I do paint my nails this is the polish that I almost always go for.
My friend gave it to me for my birthday and I’m in love. It’s a sheer purple/pink/green duo chrome kind of shade.
Hair Treatment
Another thing that I do to pamper myself it put on some kind of hair treatment. I love this one from Aussie. I leave this in for more than 3 minutes. Usually, I leave it in for about 10 to 20 minutes. Then wash it out. It makes my hair look and feel SO soft.

Hello, loves! And Happy First Day of Fall! For today’s post, I thought I would an August favorites post. Now, there actually is a reason that this post is late for a favorites post. Exactly 2 years ago I posted my very first post and it was an August favorites post. And I realized that I didn’t do anything for my 2 year anniversary on WordPress. So I thought that I would do an updated August favorites. In honor of being on WordPress for two years! These favorites are a mix of beauty and lifestyle products.
• Lifestyle •
For me, I feel like fall starts in August. At least that’s when I’m ready for it! I recently bought these at dollar tree. Honestly, dollar tree is a great please to go for decorations. It’s even better if you have a huge one near you. I’m absolutely in love these. They just made me more ready for fall than I already was. I think they had one or two other styles of these but I thought that these ones looked the best.
In case you didn’t know, my favorite color is gray. I’m a sucker for anything gray so when I saw these tins at target I KNEW I had to get them. I actually first bought two but then went back and bought two more so I now have four of these. I’m in LOVE. Right now I have them on my desk two of them have makeup brushes in them and the other two have a candle and some other tools in them.

AOA Studio Perfecting Blur Primer
I recently hauled this and I’ve been using it everyday for my primer. I’m really liking it. It’s very lightweight. And I fell like it really does blur my pores.
Loreal Infallible Foundation Blender
This was the sponge that I was mostly using in August. But if you saw my haul you would know that I got a makeup sponge from Shop Miss A and I’ve actually been using that one recently. But this was definitely the one I was using before that. I’ve heard that it’s a dupe for the Beauty Blender. I’ve never even touched a Beauty Blender so I cant say that it is. But, it is a really good sponge and I highly recommend it.
Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips
This would probably be in everyone on my favorite because I use it every day. This is my favorite lip balm of all time. Highly recommend.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber, and Green Tea
Now, to be completely honest I’ve been using this facial spray for about 3 months but I’m so in love with this that I had to mention it. I cant live without this stuff now. It’s so refreshing and just feels amazing. I especially love it for after applying all of my base makeup. I feel like it helps melt the all of the powders and gives it a more natural finish.
Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer
I recently realized that I have more oily skin than I thought. And I wanted to get a gel moisturizer because I felt that the cream one I was using before was heavy on my skin. So I found this one at Walmart and I fell in love. It’s so refreshing. And it has a cucumber kind of scent which is amazing. It feels so nice on the skin and I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a drugstore gel moisturizer.
AOA Studio F19 HIghlighting Brush
This was another thing that I hauled in my Shop Miss A post but I’m so in love with this brush that I had to include it. It’s just the perfect size. And it’s super soft. Right now, as I’m writing this it’s in stock. So, if you can get your hands on it, GET IT.
AOA Studio Wonder Matte – Trend
And another thing that I hauled. Wow! Surprise! But I honestly have been using this lip product a lot. As I said in the haul post. I’ve tried these liquid lipsticks before and really like them so it was no surprise that I fell in love with this color.

These have been the sunglasses that I’ve been wearing recently and I’m in love. I got them at Walmart on sale for 2 dollars which was amazing.
I got this on shop miss a (surprise). I’m so in love with it. Obviously, you wouldn’t get this to really protect more expensive sunglasses but for my, Walmart ones it’s fine and super cute.
One of my mom’s friends gave this to me from her boutique. And I love it so much. I feel like its really good for fall with the gold. It’s also very versatile. And I’m just so in love with it.

And the last thing is another thing that I hauled but again I’ve been loving them. I put them on my denim jacket and they look so good.

Hello, loves! I just wanted to come on here and say that they won’t be a (real) post today or Monday. My family and I are currently having a yard sale this weekend and before that, we were really busy getting ready for it. For today’s post, I thought I would do an update.
The first thing is a kinda new schedule. So right now my schedule is Random Friday where I just post whatever post I want on a (you guessed it) Friday. And More Monday is where I post something, not makeup or fashion related. Because of my blog name: Makeup, fashion, and MORE, oh my! (Get it?). But recently I feel like it’s been harder to try to think of and write posts for Monday. And I think it’s just because my life kinda revolves around makeup and more beauty related things that when it comes to anything besides that I just kinda zone out. Does that make sense? So, I was trying to think of a better schedule for me to really enjoy both days I post. I’ll still be posting on Mondays and Fridays but instead of having “Random Friday” and “MORE Monday” I’ll just have random posts. So, all future posts won’t have random Friday or more Monday after the title it will just have the title. And there won’t be a theme to the Monday and Friday posts. This does mean there will probably be more makeup and beauty related posts than lifestyle posts. But, if you do like those kinds of posts I am wanting to start my Caylee’s Adventures blog back up so head over there and follow that blog for future “Day in my life” kinda posts. But, anyways I have some fun posts planned for this blog and I can’t wait to write and post them so stay tuned!

Hello, loves! Today I thought I would show you some stuff I recently got from Shop Miss A. Miss A is definitely one of my favorite online shops to order from. If you haven’t heard about it, it’s a $1 beauty shop. They have everything from makeup to jewelry to hair accessories. You should definitely check it out!

Every Package comes bubble wrapped and under that its wrap with pink tissue paper. (Sometimes it’s different colors) I placed two orders about two days apart but they ended up actually coming on the same day which was awesome.
So, let’s get to the goodies, shall we?
I’m going to start off with the items that were the main reason I placed an order. (It was also just a little excuse to buy more things but we won’t talk about that. 😂) First, I’ll start by saying that the products that Shop Miss A make are cruelty-free. And I believe the brands that Shop Miss A sale are also cruelty-free. So, I already knew that Shop Miss A loved animals. But, then they announced that they were starting a charity program called The Paw Paw Charity Program. Where they are going to make limited edition items throughout the year where some of the proceeds will go to different animal charities that Shop Miss A has picked. If you want more info on that you can click here and read what their site says. When I saw on their Instagram that they were releasing the first two products I knew I had to get them.
AOA Studio 5-Piece Ova Brush Set
When I saw these I knew I had to get them! I mean come on! Oval brushes, cruelty-free, only $5.55 AND proceeds are going to animal charities?? How could I not? I have already tried these brushes and all I can say is they are amazing! If you’ve been wanting to try oval brushes but you don’t want to break the bank. Then these are for you. They honestly blend everything so beautifully it’s insane.
AOA Studio Super Soft Wonder Blender – Teardrop & Sculpted
They also released a new wonder blender. I have tried the regular wonder blenders and I’ve loved them for a while now. So when they said they’re were making a new one and it was going to be 2x softer? and pink? How could I resist? I’ve also tried this as well. And I don’t want to talk too much about these because I’m planning on doing a whole post on them and comparing them to another blender. But I will say that I would recommend getting these before they’re gone.
I just needed a tweezer. So, I just picked up this one. I’ve tried these out already and they work fine. I haven’t had any problems.
AOA Studio Wonder Baked Eyeshadow – Saffron
I was looking at this eyeshadow when it launched but I didn’t get it just because I didn’t know if I would use it as much but then I saw a swatch on @kindnessandicedcoffee‘s Instagram and I knew I needed it! I have used this shadow every day since I’ve gotten it and I love it! It definitely works best wet or just with a cream base.
3-piece Button set – Cactus, Stay Wild & TV
When I saw that shop miss a started selling buttons I got very excited! I just got three packs of three but there are a bunch more on there. I’ve already put these on my denim jacket and I’m in love with them! Highly recommend!
Princessa PerfectWear Eyeshadow Stick – Copper Frost
I was looking for a copper shadow and when I saw this I thought this would be perfect. It is really pretty but the only thing it is a little dry. It’s just not a creamy as I thought it would be. But other than that it’s really pretty.
AOA Studio F19 Highlighting Brush
I’ve been looking at this brush for so long but every time I would want to place an order it was out of stock but this time when I went to go look at it to get it it was in stock! So I got it and I’m so glad I did! This is my new favorite highlighting brush and I HIGHLY recommend it! It’s absolutely amazing.
AOA Studio Wonder Cover – Porcelain
I’ve actually had this concealer before and absolutely hated it. It just didn’t really blend out and when I did get it to blend out it looked horrible. Just patchy and cakey looking. So, I just ended up throwing it out. But I have bought two color correctors from the same line and really liked those. So I thought I would get another one and see if I just got a bad one or something. I’m glad I did. Because I actually like it now. It blends out much better than my last one and seemed to look a lot better when I blended it out. I use it for spot concealing because it is quite a full coverage concealer.
AOA Studio E122 Small Flat Shader Brush
When I was looking at brushes I wanted to get some more AOA Studio brushes but most of the brushes that they have are pretty basic brushes that I already have. I decided to get a brush that I didn’t have. And I go this one. All the brushes that I’ve tried from AOA Studio have really impressed me. This brush is good for packing on a shadow. And I also think it would be good for carving out your lid for a cut crease or carving out your brows. It’s also good for highlighting your brow bone too.
AOA Studio Wonder Matte – Trend
I saw this color swatched on @didymosphenia‘s Instagram and thought it would be a perfect orange kind of nude for fall. And I was right. I already have two other Wonder Mattes and I’m in love with the formula. Highly recommend.
AOA Studio Wonder Liplocks – Chai & Latte
I already have two other liplocks and I really enjoyed the formula so I thought I would get some other colors. Latte is the lighter pink kind of color and Chai is the darker more nude color. Latte is a little too light for me to wear on its own but it is pretty in the center of the lip for an ombre lip. Chai, on the other hand, is AMAZING. It’s the perfect fall shade that’s not too dark, not too light and I just love the tone of it as well.
I’ve actually already tried a lot of the a2o face masks and really liked the hydrating one especially. So I decided to get another one for the winter time.
AOA Studio Wonder Skin Perfecting Blur Primer
I saw this when it launched and I was kinda on the fence with getting it. But then I saw on @shopmissa‘s Instagram that this was supposedly a dupe for a YLS primer. And I wanted to try it to see if it was any good. Now the first thing I noticed when I used this is that the “gold flakes” are just really small gold glitter. So, it doesn’t kinda disappear you just see gold glitter. But I don’t see it after I put foundation on so that’s good. I do think that it blurs and it feels really good on the face. Feels moisturizing too so I like that.
AOA Studio Mini Wonder Blender
When I was looking for the Paw Paw sponges I saw these and was quite surprised because I hadn’t heard anything about these before and then I just found them. I have tried this and do really like it. The point is really good for getting right up in the inner corner and under the eye. I’ve also used it for baking and it seems to work well for that too.

Hello, loves! Happy September! Fall is just around the corner and I’m VERY excited. I have a few fall posts already planned so stay tuned for those! Anyways, Today I’m going to be showing you my current night routine. So, let’s just get on with it.
Take off all of my jewelry
The first thing I do is take off all of the jewelry I was wearing that day.
Change into pajamas
I honestly just throw on some pajama pants and a shirt.
Remove my makeup
I use coconut oil or makeup wipes to remove most of my makeup first. If I use coconut oil I use the LouAna coconut oil and if I use makeup wipes I use the Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes. Then I wash my face with the Clean & Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser. Next, I take my Simple Micellar Cleansing Water on a cotton ball and make sure I got all of my mascara off. Then I take my Clean & Clear Deep Cleansing Astringent on a cotton ball and go all over my face. I feel like this really gets everything I might still have on my face. Next, I use moisturizer. The one that I’m using right now and LOVING is the Clean & Clear Hydrating Gel moisturizer. And last but not least, I spray my face with the Mario Badescu Aloe, cucumber, and green tea facial spray.
Brush my teeth
Pick up my room
I try to do this every night I find that this makes it a lot easier to keep up.
Get in bed
Usually, when I get in bed I’ll work on a blog post, do some homework or scroll through Instagram. Then I’ll usually watch an asmr video and fall asleep half way through it. 😂

To be honest I started my blog because I was bored one day. But I’m so glad I did because I’ve learned so much about my self and just the blogging community in general. And how hard it actually is to have a blog.

I don’t like products in squeeze tubes. Mainly lip products but just in general. I don’t know why but I just don’t like them and I tend to not use products if they’re in squeeze tubes.

Honestly like $10 – $50 maybe? I don’t know.
Describe your dream makeup haul
I’ve made both a drugstore and high-end makeup wish list so anything from those lists would be in my dream haul.

Be yourself. Don’t try to be overly perfect. Get a schedule. Be active on other peoples blogs. Show them some love, comment & like. It means the world to some people.

Hello, loves! Today I’m going to be showing you how I clean my room. I like to do this about once a month. Or when family or friends are coming over and I want to look like I have my life together. 😂 So, let’s get onto it, shall we?
Comfort is key.
For me, I think it makes it much more fun to have something to listen to when I’m cleaning. I usually put music on. And if I do choose a movie, I make sure it’s one that I’ve watched before. Because if it’s a movie I haven’t watched before I’m going to want to watch that instead of cleaning my room. I usually watch Tangled. It’s one of my favorite movies ever.
What I mean by this is I go around my room and get everything on top of my desk, shelves, and nightstand. I take anything that doesn’t belong there and put it on my bed. And while I’m picking up the stuff that doesn’t belong I also take a rag and some cleaner and clean the surface. Bye bye dust!
Now that my bed is all full of everything that I got from my surfaces I clean it and put everything in its rightful place. Now we have we have clean surfaces and an empty bed for the next step.
Basically, I do the same thing I did with the surfaces. Get everything off the floor that doesn’t belong there and put it on my bed. Shoes go right to my closet and clothes go in a pile on my bed.
Now that my bed is full of everything from my floor I clean it off and put everyone in its rightful place and if I don’t have a place for it yet I have a cubbie in my Ikea kallex shelves that is a “go through” cubbie. And I usually go through it on days where I have extra free time, like weekends.
Now we tackle the closet. The first thing I do is get everything out from the bottom of my closet. All of the clothes and other stuff that has collected there and I put – you guessed it – on my bed. Then, I go through my closet rack with all of my clothes on it and get all of the empty hangers and put them in a little section And I make sure that there isn’t anything hanging up that needs to be folded.If there is anything I take it off the hanger and put it on my bed.
Now that my bed has a bunch of clothes on it, the first thing I do it make 3 piles. Dirty, clothes that need to be hung and clothes that need to be folded.
Then I vacuum my rugs, sweep my floor, clean my mirrors and windows.
