MORE Monday •∆• Skincare Check-in

Hello, loves! Today I’m going to be talking about the skincare in my First Impressions post. I wanted to check back in with you all to tell you if I still like the products and if my first impression ratings have changed.

Let’s get in to it.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water Cleansing Water – All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover

img_9779n

I love this. It removes my makeup really well. It hasn’t irritated my skin in any way. When I run out of this I’m defiantly going to repurchase it.

Rating: 5 out of 5

Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent

img_9776ih

Like I said in my first impressions post, I feel like it cleanses my skin and gets everything that the makeup remover and face wash may have missed. I also said in that post that there was a little irritation but I feel like my skin has gotten used to it.

Rating: 5 out of 5

Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer

img_9777ih

I also said in the other post I like the thin consistency. There was a day where it irritated my skin so bad where I had to wash it off of my face. But, I decided to give it a few more tries. I haven’t had another day like that one again. I don’t know what happened that day but it hasn’t happened since.

Rating: 4 out of 5

So, that’s it for this post. I hope you enjoyed the first impression post and this one. Thanks for reading.

I dot this all over my face and blend it in with a damp makeup sponge. -AOA Wonder Blender- I also blend some foundation on my eyelids.

  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder – Buff Beige

I take a flat top kabuki brush and blend it all over my face. I also put it on my eyelids to set the foundation.

  • e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit – Medium

I take the wax and fill in my brows. I also use the powder in the kit and use it as a contour shade. I put it in the contours of my face. Then, I use the powder in the crease of my eyes and blend it under my lash line. -Talk about multi propose.-

  • e.l.f. Mineral Infused Mascara – Black & L.a. Colors Lipstick – Natural Shine

Lastly, I curl my lashes and put on 2 – 3 coats. Then I put the lipstick on.

MORE Monday •∆• First Impressions •∆• Skincare

Hello, loves! Today I’m going to be doing a first impression on some skincare that I got recently. Also, I’m going to be checking back in with you all in a week to update you on if it’s as good as its first impression.  I’ll let you know if the ratings stay the same or change in a weeks time.

Let’s get on to it!

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water Cleansing Water – All-in-1 Cleanser &  Waterproof Makeup Remover

img_9779n

I had heard a lot about this product and how good it was from some of the bloggers I follow. I didn’t have a makeup remover before now so, I thought this would be a good thing to get.

First thoughts:

It melted away my makeup almost instantly. It didn’t irritate my face or eyes. Overall I REALLY liked it.

5 out of 5 stars

Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent

img_9776ih

I’ve been using the Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Cleanser and I’ve never tried the other steps that go with it. So, that’s why I got this. I was a little scared about getting this because I had gotten the Up & Up -the target brand- knock off of this a while ago to try it and I did not like it. It smelled like straight up rubbing alcohol and it felt like that’s what I was putting on my face.

First thoughts:

I like it. I feel like it really cleans my skin and gets anything the makeup remover and face wash may have missed. There was a little – not irritation but a tingly sensation? I don’t know how to describe it. But, it goes away after a minute so I’m okay with it.

4 out of 5 stars

Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer

img_9777ih

I got this because like I said, I wanted to try all of the steps. The moisturizer I was using before was thick and just wasn’t working. I also liked the fact that there is salicylic acid in it.

First thoughts:

I like it because it has a thin consistency. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. And like I said before I was using a thick heavy moisturizer which is great for night time but it wasn’t good for the morning.

5 out of 5 stars

Well, that’s it for this post. Again check back in two weeks to see if I still think these are good. I’m also thinking about doing a Q&A soon so if you have any questions you want me to answer please leave them below!

Random Friday •∆• My Everyday Makeup Look

Hello, Loves! Today I’m going to show you my everyday makeup look. Now, this does change a lot.  I use different products so I’m using all of my makeup. This is what I’ve been doing recently.
Let’s get on to it!

What I use:

•∆• FACE •∆•

Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation – 110 Porcelain

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder – Buff Beige

e.l.f Contour Palette – Light/Medium

Cover Girl Cheekers Blush – Classic Pink

•∆• EYES •∆•

e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit – Medium

e.l.f. Mad For Matte Palette

e.l.f. Mineral Infused Mascara

•∆• LIPS •∆•

L.A. Colors Lipstick – Natural Shine

Sally Girl Lipgloss – Curfew

picmonkey-collagrhfihe

How I do it:

  • Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation – 110 Porcelain

I dot the foundation around my face. Then, I blend it out with a damp makeup sponge. I’ve been using the  AOA Studio Wonder Blender. This is my favorite makeup sponge I’ve ever used. I love it.

  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder – Buff Beige

I set my face. This is my favorite powder.

  • e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit – Medium

I  fill in my brows. I use the wax from the eyebrow kit. Then, I use the taupe gray-brown color in the Mad For Matte Palette to set them. The powder in the eyebrow kit is to warm toned for me.

  • e.l.f Contour Palette – Light/Medium

I go back to my face and use the contour palette. I use the darkest shade in the palette. I put it in my cheekbones and around the forehead.

  • Cover Girl Cheekers Blush – Classic Pink

I take the blush and put it on the apples of my cheeks and blend towards the hairline. I’ve also been putting it a little lower, closer to the contour recently.

  • e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit – Medium  •  e.l.f. Contour Palette Light/Medium

I take the shadow from the eyebrow kit and put it all over my crease and blend. I also take it and put it under my lash line. Then I take the contour color from the contour palette and put that on the outer edge of my crease.

  • e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit – Medium

I go back to the eyebrow kit and use the wax to draw on a wing. Then I set it with the powder also in the kit. I know it’s really weird but I  like the end result.

  • e.l.f. Mineral Infused Mascara

I curl my lashes. Then, I put on two or three coats of mascara. I’m really liking this one at the moment. One of my followers recommended it to me. And I love it. So, thank you, Kendall!

  • L.A. Colors Lipstick – Natural Shine • Sally Girl Lipgloss -Curfew

Then for the lips. – I’ve talked about this lipstick in another post.- It’s just the perfect nude shade for me. I put the gloss over the top.

That’s it for this post. I hope you liked my everyday makeup look. I’m also thinking about doing a Q&A soon. So, if you have any questions you want me to answer, leave them in the comments below.
