MORE Monday •∆• Skincare Check-in

Hello, loves! Today I’m going to be talking about the skincare in my First Impressions post. I wanted to check back in with you all to tell you if I still like the products and if my first impression ratings have changed.

Let’s get in to it.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water Cleansing Water – All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover

I love this. It removes my makeup really well. It hasn’t irritated my skin in any way. When I run out of this I’m defiantly going to repurchase it.

Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent

Like I said in my first impressions post, I feel like it cleanses my skin and gets everything that the makeup remover and face wash may have missed. I also said in that post that there was a little irritation but I feel like my skin has gotten used to it.

Rating: 5 out of 5

Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer

I also said in the other post I like the thin consistency. There was a day where it irritated my skin so bad where I had to wash it off of my face. But, I decided to give it a few more tries. I haven’t had another day like that one again. I don’t know what happened that day but it hasn’t happened since.

Rating: 4 out of 5

So, that’s it for this post. I hope you enjoyed the first impression post and this one. Thanks for reading.

MORE Monday •∆• First Impressions •∆• Skincare

Hello, loves! Today I’m going to be doing a first impression on some skincare that I got recently. Also, I’m going to be checking back in with you all in a week to update you on if it’s as good as its first impression.  I’ll let you know if the ratings stay the same or change in a weeks time.

Let’s get on to it!

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water Cleansing Water – All-in-1 Cleanser &  Waterproof Makeup Remover

I had heard a lot about this product and how good it was from some of the bloggers I follow. I didn’t have a makeup remover before now so, I thought this would be a good thing to get.

First thoughts:

It melted away my makeup almost instantly. It didn’t irritate my face or eyes. Overall I REALLY liked it.

Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent

I’ve been using the Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Cleanser and I’ve never tried the other steps that go with it. So, that’s why I got this. I was a little scared about getting this because I had gotten the Up & Up -the target brand- knock off of this a while ago to try it and I did not like it. It smelled like straight up rubbing alcohol and it felt like that’s what I was putting on my face.

First thoughts:

I like it. I feel like it really cleans my skin and gets anything the makeup remover and face wash may have missed. There was a little – not irritation but a tingly sensation? I don’t know how to describe it. But, it goes away after a minute so I’m okay with it.

4 out of 5 stars

Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer

I got this because like I said, I wanted to try all of the steps. The moisturizer I was using before was thick and just wasn’t working. I also liked the fact that there is salicylic acid in it.

First thoughts:

I like it because it has a thin consistency. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. And like I said before I was using a thick heavy moisturizer which is great for night time but it wasn’t good for the morning.

5 out of 5 stars

Well, that’s it for this post. Again check back in two weeks to see if I still think these are good. I’m also thinking about doing a Q&A soon so if you have any questions you want me to answer please leave them below!

Thanks for reading!

Review Wednesday: E.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick

Hello.  Sorry I’ve been late with posting lately I’ve just been really busy. Anyways today I’ll talking about one of the item I hauled in my E.l.f. haul.

So, lets get in to it

Scroll over the pictures for words^

This lipstick is one of my favorite lipsticks in my collection. It’s creamy and smooth. The color I have is a great Fall/Winter color. If you were looking for one I would recommend this one. The only con is that it’s so creamy that the lipstick hits the back of the packaging. But that’s something I can deal with. Well I think that’s it for now. Sorry this was so short.

Love,

Caylee

Review Wednesday: E.l.f.

Hello. So, today I’m reviewing the E.l.f. Acne Fighting Gel.

I got this a few days ago at Target. I’ve used it a few times and I like it. I have really sensitive skin. I can’t use a lot of  acne products  unless its alcohol free or I will feel like I dipped my face in lava. This does have alcohol, but the reviews were so good I got it anyway. I don’t feel like I’ve dipped my face in lava so thats good, right? It kinda confuses me because it smells like alcohol but it doesn’t burn my face off.

All in all, it’s good. It doesn’t burn my face and I like the roller ball.

I think that’s all for now. See you on Friday!

Love,

Caylee
